Part-Time Visitation Monitor, Family Based support and Stabilization Visitation Program

Community based non-profit organization is seeking a passionate, creative, motivated, and flexible person to serve as Visitation Monitor in our FBS Visitation Program. The Family Based Support and Stabilization Program provides “family time” supervised visitation, transportation, and advocacy services for children in out of home placement through the Department of Children and Families (DCF) of MA and their parents while protecting participants from verbal, emotional and physical abuse. We stive to assist non-custodial parents in having safe, loving, and nurturing visits with their child(ren).
Responsibilities
Assist staff with maintaining a safe environment for all participants of the program.
Provide accurate, written observation reports for supervised visitation using Excel and Word
Document communications with clients and DCF into EMPOWER database.
Participate in family case conferences with DCF if requested.
Monitor participant adherence to the policies and procedures of the Visitation program.
Assist in the general operations of all designated visitation spaces, to include sanitizing tables and chairs, and regularly restocking visitation rooms
Participate in weekly supervision.
Participate in various agency and other trainings both individually and group sessions
Bilingual in Spanish or Portuguese is a plus
Willing to work in either our Brockton and/or Raynham locations
Requirements
This position is 20 hours per week: Saturday 9:30am-5:00pm (1 hour lunch, unpaid); Tuesday-Friday 3:00-6:00pm (weekdays/hours negotiable)
Experience in Human Services field is desired. Training to be provided based on experience.
Experience in Word and Excel.
Valid MA driver’s license and clean driving record.
Benefits
One hour of sick time for every thirty hours worked.

Compensation $22-$24 per hour
