Stonehill College Toiletry Drive For Janice's Closet

Students Valentina Mongillo and Sophia Owen organized a “Go-Bag Drive” on Stonehill College campus  to collect toiletries and other necessities for Janice’s Closet at Family and Community Resources, Inc.  

Most times when someone is fleeing a violent situation, you do so with just the clothes on your back and anything you might be able to grab on your way out.  Janice’s Closet helps to provide basic necessities for survivors, when ever they need them.

Students also donated arts and crafts supplies and a few toys to our DV and Mental Health programs. 

When children leave a bad situation in an emergency most times they leave everything behind.  A new teddy bear can go a long way to providing comfort.
