"Love Shouldn't Hurt" - What Love Shouldn't Look Like Inaugural Conference Stonehill College Oct. 21, 2018

On Saturday, October 21, 2018, FCR staff participated in the "Love Shouldn't Hurt" WHAT LOVE SHOULDN'T LOOK LIKE 1ST ANNUAL CONFERENCE at Stonehill College, in Easton, MA.

The conference was organized by Professor Shani Turner's Psychotherapy Practicum Class: Krista Fernandes '19, Jessica Infiorati '19, Jane Lima '19, Hannah Talbot '19, Shelby Waldron, and Lauren Wallace '19 (an FCR Volunteer).

Ruth Zakarin, Director of Trauma Services at FCR, was the keynote speaker. "Many thanks to Professor Shani Turner and the student leaders of Stonehill College for having me as the keynote speaker of the first annual Love Shouldn't Hurt conference! I loved having the opportunity to speak with the students about what it means to be an agent of change and develop action plans to address sexual assault."
