Walk for Survivor Safety & Community Cultural Fair

Thank you to everyone who joined us on October 14, 2023, for our 5K Walk for Survivor Safety and Community Cultural Fair! In addition to the walk, this wonderful event featured a vendor fair, a live mural painting, lawn games, face painting, and wonderful raffle and silent auction prizes! We raised over $25,000 for survivors of violence and trauma as part of our continuing efforts during Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

A special thank you to Jane Bowman, our emcee, Chris DiSangro, our honorary chair, all of our sponsors, and our wonderful survivor speaker, who shared her inspiring story of hope and healing with us. Domestic and community violence continues to afflict our society. Thank you all for supporting FCR as we work to end the cycle of violence and create a world that is safe, just, and equitable.
