December 5th is International Volunteer Day, celebrated to recognize the impact that volunteers have on their community and non-profits like Family and Community Resources. We cannot overstate the importance of our volunteers’ contributions to achieving our mission, and want to celebrate them all December long, not just on the 5th!

“I don’t want my daughter to grow up thinking that it is acceptable for a man to abuse the mother of his child or any woman. FCR has given my daughter and me the chance for a safe and healthy life,” said a grateful Sarah, 17 years old, who is now on her new journey to a better life with her daughter.
