FCR is proud to announce that two of our Domestic Violence Program staff members, Jessica Paige and Katie Tripp, were honored with Excellence in Human Service Awards from Community Services of Greater Brockton (CSGB) at their annual awards dinner on June 18, 2014.
Jessica Paige has been a civilian police advocate for two years and faces any challenge head on. For Jessica, there is no such thing as a task that is too small or too big; she will always find the time to do extra things, even if it means staying late.
Katie Tripp has been a domestic violence civilian police advocate for three years and has amazing work ethics. She consistently exhibits devotion to her clients and dedication to her field. Katie is always willing to go the extra mile.
Their awards were presented by FCR Board Member Linda Kenney Logan, who noted that they both go above and beyond their job descriptions as advocates for victims of domestic violence. They can be found working with clients of all ages, from educating college students to assembling support groups for senior citizens.
They have faithfully provided a clean, organized emergency food pantry for victims as well as "Janice's Closet," stocked with clothing and household items for victims and their children fleeing to a safer home, oftentimes with just what they were able to grab.
FCR is heartbroken to note that we will be losing Jessica in September as she moves on to obtain her master's degree from Wheelock College!!!
We are very proud of these women and we congratulate them on their awards.
